Hiroaki Sueyasu launched KIDILL in 2014 with the aim of creating some serious street style in luxe materials. KIDILL is inspired by 90.FN”s subculture, hardcore punk, grunge, graffiti, skateboarding, (somewhat weirdly) modern literature, and all things good. KIDILL finds harmony in disarray, order in confusion and translates this ethos to designs that are – at the same time – serious and playful, formal and casual, purposeful and random, young and old, abstract and real.
KIDILL translated this vision into eyewear for us with three different styles. The “Wet Dream” colourway glasses features matte royal blue frames, blue mirror lenses, and silver detailing. “Splash” is constructed from polished clear frames, sky blue mirror lenses, and includes silver detailing, while “Phantom” includes matte black frames, silver mirror lenses and silver detailing.
